Television and recording star David Hasselhoff lost a long and public battle with alcohol on Sunday after being discovered unconscious by his daughter Hayley in their Encino, CA home and rushed to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center where he expired. Although no documents have been released, the cause of death will reportedly be listed as "alcohol poisoning." Hasselhoff is best known in the U.S. for his starring role in the Knight Rider and Baywatch TV shows as well as his recent work as a judge on America's Best Dance Crew. In 1989, he topped the German pop music charts with his hit "Looking For Freedom." Hasselhoff is survived by his two daughters, Taylor and Hayley. He was 57 years old at the time of his death.
UPDATE: We are currently investigating rumors that David Hasselhoff may still be alive.
